Section 8: Prejudice hits Xbox Live on April 20

Capcom launches new IP with Dragon's Dogma 1

TimeGate’s shooter will make it to the PSN and the PC later in 2011.

Xbox owners will soon be able to get their hands on Section 8: Prejudice. TimeGate Studios has announced that the shooter will debut on the Xbox Live Arcade on April 20. It will then make its way to the PC on May 4 before heading to the PlayStation Network sometime later in the summer. Depending on your download avenue of choice, the game will be available for 1200 Microsoft Points or $15.

In other news, TimeGate has also unveiled a loyalty program that will reward fans of the original Section 8 with unlockable upgrades in the sequel. Everyone who played the first title will unlock the Aegis Armor and the Reactive Plating upgrades, while those who make it to level 25 will receive the Ablative Plating upgrade and those who make it to level 50 will also get the Explosives Amplifier upgrade. All rewards are based on player levels achieved prior to Prejudice’s April 20 release date.

And that’s pretty much everything you need to know. Section 8: Prejudice is offering a five-hour single player campaign and 32-person online multiplayer, so it might be a pretty good buy for a mere $15.
