Saturday in Toronto Don Carmody celebrated his 100

th

film and the Canadian film industry was there to help him celebrate.  This event was to celebrate the man and his achievements. Canadian funny man Colin Mochrie hosted the event along with many celebrities and people in the Canadian film industry where there to celebrate with Don.  100 films from a producer is a rare achievement and for a Canadian it is especially rare.

For anyone that does not know Don Carmody, he has worked in the industry for nearly 40 years now and has been behind some of Canada’s highest grossing films.  His most recent film RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE has gone on to gross more then 300 million dollars worldwide. His most recent film Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is currently filming on location in Toronto.

With many of the stars and people Don has worked with in the past in attendance we at C&G Monthly made sure we where there to cover the event. We got some great photos but also we give you all a look at how Canada congratulates it’s own.
