The God of Thunder gets a new book and The Man of Steel celebrates an anniversary.
It’s New Comic Book Day, and there are a couple of high-profile titles headlining the new offerings. In The Mighty Thor #1, Thor stumbles upon an artifact that draws the attention of the Silver Surfer. As you might expect, Galactus isn’t far behind. The book is written by Matt Faction with artwork by Olivier Coipel and it’s one to check out if you’re looking forward to the Thor movie coming in May.
Action Comics, meanwhile, is celebrating an anniversary with Action Comics #900, and the book will feature the return of Superman in a special 100-page issue. Dark Knight screenwriter David Goyer and Superman: The Movie director Richard Donner are just two of the many talented people who have contributed to the book.
