Ubisoft wants your help to reveal the next Assassin’s Creed

It’s as simple as pushing a button.

Ubisoft “accidentally” leaked some information about a game called Assassin’s Creed: Revelations – an image with the name ‘Altair’ written in Arabic script accompanied the above logo – and while those pictures have since disappeared, the developer is enlisting fan help to make the reveal of the next Assassin’s Creed game official.  All you need to do is head over to the Assassin’s Creed Facebook page, click “Like,” and your work is done.

Here’s how it works. When you “Like” the page, you’re presented with a blurry image that will slowly come into focus as it becomes more and more popular. At the moment, a little more than ¼ of the image is visible, and it shows an arm with game’s signature hidden blade with some sort of castle or fortress in the background.

Despite the unofficial Altair reference, we still don’t know when and where the new game will take place, but we’ll likely get an answer once the image is complete. Given the game’s subtitle, Revelations might be another spin-off sequel similar to Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (as opposed to Assassin’s Creed 3), so get to work and spread the word if you’re hoping to learn more.
