In case you haven’t heard, Halo 4 is being released in 20 days. Officially the last stretch of crunch time for Microsoft and 343 Industries, it only makes sense the companies would team up with Oscar nominated director David Fincher to create a live action trailer.

David Ellis, the Spartan Ops designer on Halo 4, tweeted about the trailer earlier today. The trailer, which has been entitled, “Scanned,” will appear tonight at some point on the popular late night program, “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”

Ellis leaked this photo on his Twitter account at the same time as the announcement. The trailer will look at the backstory behind Halo protagonist Master Chief, as well as showcase the new threat players will encounter in the latest instalment. The trailer will run for two minutes and will be a, as Fincher said, “hybridized-live action/CGI,” trailer.

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon airs tonight at 12:35 on NBC.
