New Call of Juarez game on the way

Whether there was a demand for it or not, another Call of Juarez game is on the cards. Ubisoft annouced Call of Juarez: Gunslinger today, along with a reveal trailer.

The trailer shows well-known outlaws like John Wesley Harding, Billy the Kid and Jesse James. Also obvious from the trailer is the fact that the series is headed back to the old west, ditching the modern setting of 2011’s Call of Juarez: The Cartel.

Aside from the trailer and a couple setting and character informations, details on the Techland developed game are still pretty scarce. The Cartel wasn’t received all that well critically, but supposedly put up good sales figures during the first month of it’s release in the UK. But the decision to push ahead with another sequel in the franchise is still puzzling.

Platforms listed in the trailer include the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Gunslinger will be playable at PAX East next week.
