Zynga CEO Announces Departure of Three Senior Executives 1

Zynga’s new Chief Executive Officer Don Mattrick has announced the departure of three senior company executives.

Chief technology officer Cadir Lee, chief people officer Colleen McCreary and chief operating officer David Ko will leave Zynga in order to pursue other interests.

Mattrick writes on Zynga’s blog post, “Each person has contributed to the growth of Zynga and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Cadir Lee for his dedication in the creation of a world class technical organization during a 5 year tenure Colleen for her work with out recruitment and people process over the last 4 years, and David Ko for the 3 years that he spent in leading various teams across the organization. We appreciate their contributions to Zynga’s first chapter and wish them well in their future endeavours.”

Mattrick also revealed in the blog post Zynga is in the process of shuffling company executives, giving them new responsibilities on particular games. This is done to strengthen weak areas and ensure overall success with Zynga’s games.

Zynga has been experiencing some layoffs within its locations. As Mattrick is shaking things up, he envisions a future in which the company can expand its workforce and commit to important tasks and opportunities.
