The Gamestick, Kickstarter’s second successful Android console, has been delayed.
Originally slated to be released on September 30th, company Play Jam announced today that it will be released on October 29th instead.
Play Jam CEO Jasper Smith says “The challenge of bringing affordable gaming to the big screen has always sat at the heart of everything we do and GameStick represents a huge step forward in reaching that goal. We’re extremely proud of what we have achieved and look forward to families getting their hands on devices in the run up to Christmas.”
Gamestick reached its Kickstarter goal on February 1, 2013. It will be available at Amazon, Gamestop and GAME at launch for $79.99.
