Today it was announced that the upcoming Microsoft exclusive, Titanfall, will be released March 11, 2014.
The game is a first-person shooter and involves players taking the role of mech-walkers, allowing them to traverse arenas much faster than an average human being. Titanfall generated a huge buzz back at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, winning many awards for its reveal.
Also announced is the Titanfall Collector's Edition, which will run consumers a whopping $250. The set includes an 18" Titan statue and a huge 190 page art book.
There is also rumours that the game will support cross-platform play between Xbox One and PC. Microsoft Game Studios corporate vice president Phil Spencer has mentioned the idea "makes sense."
Titanfall was created by Respawn Entertainment. The title is coming out for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. The title will come out in Europe on March 13.
