Creator of Leisure Suit Larry Leaves Publisher Following Sex Scandal 1

Al Lowe, the creator of Leisure Suit Larry, left Replay Games after an internal sex scandal came to light.

In an interview with Kotaku, Lowe admitted that one of the reasons he decided to leave was the arrest of president Paul Trowe, who showed an explicit sexual video to a minor back in 2012.

Trowe ended up being put on two years probation, and is now taking a sex offender counseling class.

Leisure Suit Larry saw a comeback in 2012 when it successfully funded Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded on Kickstarter. The game recently released in October, but Lowe says he won’t be making any more titles in the franchise.

The Leisure Suit Larry series started back in 1987 on the PC. It has since seen numerous sequels, spanning many different consoles.
