Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson Adds Co-Op To The Mix

Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson Adds Co-Op To The Mix 1

Senran Kagura, home of the big-breasted adolescent ninja gang, has announced a sequel to Burst. Titled Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson, is a 3DS exclusive, and will include co-op gameplay.

The information was revealed in Japanese magazine Famitsu this week. While a teaser site for the franchise was recently launched, it seems the information has leaked early. The game will once again be a side-scrolling beat em up, in the same vein as Burst.

So far only local co-op has been confirmed for the title, alongside a new tag-team mode. The tag team mode lets you fight with two paired up characters, who will have special combo moves in the game.

Finally, the Vita folks haven’t been forgotten here…well, not completely. A cooking rhythm game called Dekamori Senran Kagura will be coming to both the PSP and PlayStation Vita.

Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson is set to release in Japan on August 7th, 2014. No American dates have been announced as of now. Look for the reveal stream tomorrow on Nico Nico Live.
