More PAX, More Power

More PAX, More Power - 2014-04-12 16:56:19

Just when you thought the Penny Arcade Expo couldn’t get any bigger, they go to Texas. PAX South, the next iteration of the famous exhibition, will make its way to San Antonio next January.

The announcement was made today by PAX president Robert Khoo, who said:

“since its launch in 2004, PAX events have doubled in size almost every year, and our Seattle and Boston events represent the two largest gaming festivals in North America. We’ve been hearing for years that those in the south had a tough time making it to the northern corners of the country; PAX South has always been a matter of ‘when’ rather than ‘if.'”

This marks the fourth location for the giant gamer meet-up following East, Prime and Australia. For Canadians looking to get in on the PAX action we recommend checking out PAX East, which is happening this weekend in Boston. Just know it’ll be quite the road trip.

They say everything is bigger in Texas. Let’s hope that PAX follows this tradition when it hits San Antonio January 23-25. Unfortunately no PAX North has been announced but we Canadians keep hoping!
