With The Last of Us set to release on the PlayStation 4, Sony might give players who already purchased the title on the PlayStation 3 a big of a break.
In post on PlayStation Blog about the latest DLC for the game, a fan asked if the new version comes at a discount to those who already bought the game before. This caught the attention of writer Eric Monacelli, who responded.
“We’re looking into the business model for all this and will post this once we have input from all regions,” writes Monacelli.
This isn’t a confirmation. But in the past players have been able to upgrade to the next gen version of old titles for a small fee.
