For those itching for some football (not of the world cup variety), EA has some good news. Taking ten steps back from last year’s game, Madden 15 is set for release on Aug. 26, 2015 on the Xbox 360 and One, as well as PlayStation 3 and 4.
The next installment in the hugely successful football franchise is expected to come with changes. In the press release, the game will more immersive defensive control. What that means exactly has not been stated yet, but it’s something to look forward to.
Like last year, fans can vote on who will grace the cover of the game. The winner of the honour will be revealed at the NFL Entry Draft on May 8. 2014. Last year, the winner was former Detroit Lions running back Barry Sanders who won got 52 per cent of the votes in the final round against the Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.
In the game’s trailer Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly transforms into a pretty realistic virtual version of himself. At the end, EA teased that fans can see the full transformation in June.
