DC Comics Cancels Six Titles in August

Yesterday DC Comic released their solicitation list for August, which revealed that six titles will be ending that month.

The six titles will be effected by what fans are calling “Bloody Monday;” All-Star Western, Birds of Prey, Batwing, and Superboy will end with issues #34. Trinity of Sin: The Phantom Stranger will end with issue #22 and Trinity of Sin: Pandora will end with issue #14.

All-Star Western, Birds of Prey, Batwing, and Superboy were original launch titles during DC’s New 52 line up in September of 2011. Trinity of Sin: The Phantom Stranger and Pandora were both titles that both set up and crossed over with DC’s first major event Trinity War and the follow up Forever Evil.

These six titles were DC’s lowest selling titles in the past few months, and is planning on replacing them with the upcoming Grayson, New Suicide Squad, Infinity Man, and the Forever People, and a new volume of Teen Titans.
