Get Ready for Another Splatoon Testfire

Get Ready for Another Splatoon Testfire 1

If you can’t wait an extra few days for the upcoming Nintendo title Splatoon, you can try it out a little early.

On May 23 from 11 p.m Nintendo is hosting a Splatoon Global Testfire for one hour. Essentially, for that time, you can drop into a 4 on 4 turf war. The objective is to ink up as much of the map as possible. This is the second Testfire from Nintendo, the first was last weekend.

If you want to take part in the action, you’ll need a stable Internet connection. All you need to do is go to the Nintendo e-Shop and download the Testfire software during the specified time and have a blast.

Nintendo is counting on Splatoon to be one of their biggest titles this quarter playing the role Mario Kart 8 occupied last year. Recently the big N had a whole direct focusing on the title. Players can customize their squid, level up gear and select weapons that complement their play style. And while there is a strong focus on multiplayer, there is a single player campaign as well.

If you miss this event, don’t worry you won’t have to wait long. Splatoon is set for a May 29 release.
