Remember sinking quarters into the endless maze that was Dragon’s Lair? Well, Don Bluth and Gary Goldman are reconnecting to bring it to the big screen!
Dragon’s Lair is not only known for the sheer undertaking of memory used to make it all the way through, the mountain of quarters players would sink into the machine but also, the beautiful art and animation. Now, thanks to Kickstarter, fans will have a chance to bring that story back to life on the big screen.
Personally, I didn’t sink endless quarters into the machine but they even showed it to us at animation school just because it was so darn pretty! Don Bluth is well known for helping to craft some of our favourite childhood films, The Secret of NIMH, An American Tail and The Land Before Time. Was anyone not upset when Little Foot lost his mom?
