Zelda Not Listed for 2016 According To Launch Schedule 1

The annual report was just released from Nintendo and it gives a peak into their future. Within the brief 7 page report, Nintendo gives an overview of what the past Q3 has been like. Overall things are looking good at Nintendo, despite the weak Wii U Sales, but we also get a look at what the future release plans are for Nintendo titles.

Most of  the listings have already been said by Nintendo in the past, although there are a few interesting things that may be of note to loyal Nintendo fans. It seems Nintendo does not currently have Zelda slated for a 2016 release. This could mean many things, one of witch is that it has slipped into a 2017 release. It is hard to say what the development on that title is like now that the NX is currently in active development.

Beyond that, it shows Nintendo has a strong lineup going into 2016, many of the titles coming out for the 3DS are fan favorites such as Fire Emblem Fates, BRAVELY SECOND END LAYER. On the Wii U Star Fox Zero will thrill many fans of the franchise.

Overall Nintendo is looking strong and as they push forward with a solid software library going into 2016, they are not to be underestimated. Although they may not have the console sales, there are few publishers that can command such loyalty from the fans. It will be an exciting 2016 for Nintendo, and with the new mobile initiative they will be a company to look out for.
