The Kaiju and Yagers may be returning to the big screen thanks to Guillermo del Toro.
Universal Studios’ announced last month that they had delayed Pacific Rim 2 indefinitely, however, Guillermo del Toro announced via Twitter he has submitted the script and budget for the sequel to execs.
PACIFIC RIM 2: Budget and script went in. No answers yet. If anything happens, I will post. If nothing happens, I will just keep rambling.

The sequel was originally slated for August 2017 and was to be set a few years after the original. Fans will have to wait to find out if the Kaiju will make it back to the big screen.
