Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Coming to North America

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Coming to North America 4

The Sword Art Online franchise is an odd beast. On one hand, it paints a picture of the perfect VR experience. One where you can live out a full life in an MMO. Yet even with this idealized game view in the Anime, the games feel like standard JRPG’s. They do not manage to capture that unique concept that made fans love the show so much.

Bandai Namco are taking another stab at it with Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization. Taking the role of Kirito once again, players will need to face against new monsters and quests in the dangerous online world.

In a statement about the release  Eric Hartness, Vice President of Marketing at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America, Inc. said: “The Sword Art Online franchise has experienced incredible growth in popularity on a global level with light-novel and anime fans. We are excited to bring Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, the next Sword Art Online game, to fans in the Americas. With Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, we’re striving to take fans even further into Sword Art Online’s VRMMORPG world. We hope players are ready for the challenge.”

This new installment in the series is planned for the PS4 and PS Vita for the Fall of 2016.
