Antti Kallioinen passed away at the age of 42 on February 24, 2016. Kallioinen started his career as a background graphics artist in1994 for one of the first Finnish internationally published games called Elfmania, a 2D fighting game on the Amiga. He also co-founded three game companies worldwide.
Kallioinen worked on several other games throughout his career as a designer, including Space Haste 2001, Alien Incident and Resogun. At the time of his passing, Kallioinen was finalizing Alienation with his team as Lead Artist.
His co-workers at Housemarque offered their condolences to the Kallioinen family.
