Digital Extremes announced first details for TennoCon, a convention and celebration of free-to-play sci-f action game Warframe.
TennoCon will take place in London, Ontario at the London Convention Centre on July 9, 2016. Guests will be able to meet with Warframe developers, popular Warframe Twitch and YouTube broadcasters, and fellow players.
Warframe has a substantial community of more than 22 million players across PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – some of whom Digital Extremes hopes will cosplay at the event.
There are three ticket options for accessing TennoCon, a full day ticket, collector’s ticket, and limited VIP ticket.
The Full Day Ticket will cost $25 CAD and includes full day access to the event along with free, exclusive in-game items.
The Collector’s Ticket is $75 CAD and includes the contents of the full day ticket, as well as an exclusive TennoCon t-shirt and additional items.
The Limited VIP Ticket is a whopping $250 CAD, and it includes all previous tier items along with a Limited Edition Nyx Collector’s Statue and a Digital Extremes Studio Tour, complete with Canadian Brunch with the Warframe Development Team.
TennoCon’s mission is to bring the Warframe community together for a day of interactive panels, giveaways and activities focused on three major themes: Learn, Play and Connect.
TennoCon will end with TennoLive, a livestreaming broadcast of Warframe’s popular Devstream series where the developers will discuss future plans for Warframe. Players unable to attend the event can watch the broadcast online at twitch.tv/warframe.
