2K Games is re-teaming with Humble Bundle to bring a new set of gaming discounts.
Like all previous Bundles, the Humble 2K Bundle 2 is a pay-as-you want sale bundling various PC games for as low as a dollar; a part of the proceeds going to various charities. This time, proceeds from the sale go towards GameChanger, a charity dedicated to providing games and technology to children and families suffering from life-threatening illnesses. 2K Games previously teamed with Humble Bundle in 2014. This is the most recent publisher-exclusive Humble Bundle in the past few months. Previous bundles include Square Enix, EA, Telltale Games, Deep Silver, and SEGA.
For only a dollar, you can pick up a copy of The Darkness II, Spec Ops: The Line and Duke Nukem Forever. Paying more than the average price adds on a copy of Civilization V, NBA 2K16, Mafia II, a Summer Skins Pack for Battleborn, and more titles to be announced. Paying at least $15 gives you a copy of Battleborn with 230 Platinum Currency, as well as a copy of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. No matter which tier you pay for, you also receive a 40% discount towards a purchase of XCOM 2, and 10% off a Humble Monthly subscription for new subscribers.
While it's not a particularly great game, Battleborn is worth picking up while it's at a very low $15 price point, especially when it comes with bonus skins and currency. Not to mention The Darkness II, Spec Ops: The Line and Mafia II are all fairly underrated titles in the own rights and definitely worth picking up. That being said, it's hard to justify purchasing Duke Nukem Forever at any price point. If you're interested in just the "average price" titles, the price is sure to rise quickly, so be sure to pick up a bundle early to ensure the best bang for your buck.
The Humble 2K Bundle 2 runs now until August 1st.
