Gundam Versus Coming to the West this Fall

Bandai Namco has just announced that Gundam Versus, previously being released in Japan on July 6, 2017, will be making its way into Europe and the Americas. While they did not specify on what day it will be released, fans do know it will be unveiled sometime in the fall on the PlayStation 4.

To accompany this announcement, Bandai Namco also released a trailer that shows off the wonders that await in Gundam Versus. This is not a short, one-minute depiction, either. They released a four-minute plus trailer that shows off several gameplay elements.

Gundam Versus mostly consists of team-based battles, two-versus-two and three-versus-three. From across the diverse world of Gundam, are more than 90 playable Mobile Suits for players to select from. Brand new moves have been implemented, Boost Dive, Boost Dash, and Boost Step, and players can play via offline or online. Utilizing the massive power of the PlayStation 4 console, the game will also feature visually appealing lighting effects, landscape deformation, and brand-new ways to eviscerate the surrounding environment.

In addition to the plethora of different Mobile Suits, who all have unique characteristics, players can also choose between two Burst Systems (Lighting Gear and Blaze Gear). Each one will accommodate different playstyles, so it is vital for players to pick the one that suits them best.

As the gameplay trailer explains the game better than any other form of media, be sure to check it out immediately. Besides that, though, fans can also voice their opinion on what they believe the artwork cover should be for Gundam Versus. Right now, there are four options to choose from and they can be voted on.
