Anyone in the market for high-end virtual reality, specifically the HTC Vive can jump on the chance now, as HTC is offering new customers a free copy of the recently released Star Trek Bridge Crew VR game. The announcement of the new deal broke on Twitter, it is unclear if all participating retailers will be honouring this promotion, however, HTC has confirmed that orders through Amazon should come with a redeemable code for the aforementioned games.
Those who take advantage of the deal can enjoy a copy of Star Trek Bridge Crew which places the player into the USS Aegis, tasked on a critical mission to explore an area of space known as The Trench. Gamers will not be alone, as the title offers 4-player co-op, in that each player will assume an iconic role from within the StarTrek universe.
The HTC Vive headset launched on the 5th of April of 2016, and introduced the world to room scale VR, which unlike other headsets, allows consumers to experience VR in full immersion thanks to several 3D cameras that come with the headset and a set of wireless controllers.
