BioMutant is being developed by THQ Nordic and is expected to release sometime in 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Additionally, the product description reveals that BioMutant will be a action RPG. The game will feature real time combat, with shooting mechanics augmented by mutant abilities. The game also touts replayability in the form of varied and deep character progression, a systematically generated world, and even an underworld consisting of a small solar system. The game will also feature a unique and interesting narrative, with contextual options that allow players to experience their own story of survival.

Players will also be able to trek the game’s world via foot, mech, air-balloon, jetski and even a UFO. Finally, BioMutant promises a deep MMO-esque customization option for the player character.

BioMutant will be available in two flavours: a standard retail release both physically and digitally, and a special Collector’s Edition which will include the game, soundtrack, art fabric, and statue.
