From hats with speakers inside them to new console initiatives, Atari has done it again by unveiling their latest Atari 2600 inspired Retro Handheld and Plug and Play TV Joystick.

First up, Atari is planning on reintroducing the world to the Atari 2600 via their new Atari Retro Handheld — the upcoming mini console will feature 50 classic and beloved Atari 2600 titles, which include the likes of Asteroids, Centipede, Millipede, Missle Command, Pong and more.

The upcoming Atari Retro Handheld will feature an Atari 2600 inspired wood aesthetic, giving the forthcoming handheld that iconic and instantly recognisable look. As far as displays go, the Atari Retro Handheld will sport a 2.4” screen, additionally, the upcoming handheld will come with A/V output support, with an optional HDMI adapter available.

Between the 2.4” screen, players will find stylised buttons and an analogue stick, reminiscent of the Atari 2600’s Joystick.

Speaking of Joysticks, Atari is also planning on releasing something called the Atari Retro Plug and Play TV Joystick. As the name suggests, this upcoming device will plug into any display via A/V or an optional HDMI adapter, giving players access to 50 classic Atari titles.
