2017 was a fantastic year for gaming, yet with the bar set high for 2018, Xbox Gold users seem to be starting their year fantastically. On December 22nd, Microsoft announced that Xbox One and 360 owners will be getting four great games to start their 2018 on a positive note.
Without further ado, here are the games you’ll be able to play completely free starting January 1st:
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III
Currently retailing at $14.99, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III provides a RPG experience set in the fictional city of Borgovia in the midst of its civil war. The Incredible Adventures of Van Helising III will be completely free for Xbox One owners from January 1st to January 31st and has Metacritic score of 64.
Zombi
Originally a Wii U exclusive, this Ubisoft title puts you in a zombie-overthrown London where your main mission is to survive for as long as your abilities allow. Zombi currently retails at $19.99, but will be available for free to all Xbox One players from January 16th to February 15th. Zombi has a current Metacritic score of 72.
Tomb Raider Underworld
Debuted in 2008, Tomb Raider Underworld puts you in the shoes of Lara Croft as she’s set on a mission to find her missing mother. Currently retailed at $19.99, Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners will be able to enjoy this title for free from January 1st to January 15th. Tomb Raider Underworld Currently has a Metacritic Score of 76.
Army of Two
Originally launched in 2018 and currently retailed at $14.99, Army of two puts gamers in the shoes of two soldiers who must cooperate in order to have a chance fighting in today’s frantic wars. Gamers on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 will be able to enjoy Army of Two completely free of charge from January 16th to January 31st. Army of Two currently has a Metacritic score of 72.
