Telltale has revealed the first screenshots of their upcoming game with Gearbox Software’s Borderlands series.
Tales From the Borderlands is an episodic adventure game much like Telltale’s other games like The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us.
There will be two protagonists; Rhys, a scheming low level data miner who works for Hyperion, and Fiona, a fast-talking con woman. Neither of them are Vault Hunters, but the game will have the player interact with previous ones such as Zer0 from Borderlands 2.
Telltale has also mentioned that players will be able to pick up loot in Tales From the Borderlands. This loot can be used in upcoming Borderlands projects.
The game will take place after the events of Borderlands 2, and will be apart of the main Borderlands cannon.
There is no set release date for the first episode, but Telltale is hoping to release it some time in the summer of this year.
