Burnout Paradise coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Burnout Paradise coming to PS4 and Xbox One

While fans of the Burnout series are still waiting for a new addition to their favourite series, they’ll be satisfied in knowing that a classic is coming back. Burnout Paradise is getting a remastered version for the PS4 and Xbox One.

Criterion Games, a studio owned by EA, announced today that Burnout Paradise Remastered will be coming out March 16, 2018.

The Remaster will not only include the base game but all eight add-ons from the Year of Paradise as well. This includes the extension to the drivable world via Big Surf Island. By having all of these add-ons, it means that fans will not have to pay for all of that extra DLC again.

The remaster will also include a whole host of technical upgrades which will allow gamers to not only play it in 4K, but will also be 60 fps, as long as you have a PS4 Pro, and an Xbox One X.

When describing the game, Matt Webster, General Manager at Criterion Games, said, “Burnout Paradise is an open-world arcade racer built to provide players with the thrill of racing with their friends, in a free-form way that’s both seamless and immersive.”

Webster also went on to say that Burnout Paradise Remastered will have the trademark stunt driving and the speed found in other Burnout games.

Burnout Paradise Remastered will be released on March 16, 2018, but fans will also get a chance to play on March 9, 2018, when the “Play it First” trial begins.

Bryan Espiritu Designed Xbox One X Available In Toronto

Bryan Espiritu Designed Xbox One X Available In Toronto

Xbox Canada has recruited Toronto based designer and Legends League founder Bryan Espiritu to design five exclusive Xbox One X consoles to coincide with the release of the Frenzy App and the new Xbox One X console.

The best part aside from the very cool designs themselves is the fact that all five of the consoles will be free and up for grabs starting at 4:00 pm at the Trinity Bellwoods Park in Toronto.

The console designs are based on different parts of the city: the West end, East end. Uptown and Downtown. Each console has been coloured to represent one of the four face buttons present on the Xbox One X controller to celebrate the launch of the system.

Bryan Espiritu is known for his creative talent and his brand IDEALL (Inspiration Driven Esthetic) which over the years transformed into the Legends League brand as it is known by today. His unique art has appeared on everything from New Era hats to Canadian manufactured sweatshirts.

Those wanting to try their hand at winning one of the limited editions consoles should download the Frenzy app (iOS only) and head on down to Trinity Bellwoods Park.

Rogue Trooper Redux (PS4) Review – Not All Clones Are Created Equal

Rogue Trooper Redux (PS4) Review – Not All Clones Are Created Equal

The problem with reviewing re-mastered editions of old videogames is that I never know what standards to hold them to. Do I compare this third person shooter, based on a 1980’s British comic book, with the games that were released at the same time —April 2006? That was only seven months before Gears of War came out and changed that genre forever.
