I’m a little burnt out on the whole immortal protagonist/mortal sidekick routine after the debacle that was Knight’s Contract, but Konami’s NeverDead might be the game that convinces me to give the gimmick a second chance. I’m far more inclined to like a game with a sense of humor, and an impressive new batch of screenshots is always a cause for optimism.
The aforementioned screenshots are below. NeverDead is scheduled for release sometime in the Fall of 2011.
