Control up to ten Kirbies in Nintendo’s “Atsumete! Kirby.”
The latest issue of the Japanese magazine Famitsu has some information about a game titled Atsumete! Kirby (roughly translated as Gather! Kirby), and it looks like the pink puff ball has enlisted a few friends for his next adventure. The upcoming DS (not 3DS) title will reportedly allow players to control up to ten Kirbies simultaneously, with each piece of fruit adding another Kirby to the group. Players will be able to use the stylus to guide the Kirbies around the stage, and can even command healthy Kirbies to grab dead Kirbies before their angels float away.
Atsumete! Kirby is scheduled to be released in Japan before the end of 2011, and will likely be making its North American debut after that.
Personally, I’m just wondering wondering if Kirby is supposed to be the little guy’s name or his species. And how do we know the plural of Kirby isn’t Kirbi?
