Sony releases PS4 game pricing

Sony releases PS4 game pricing - 2013-02-22 18:35:37

The pricing for PS4 games have finally been revealed, and will range between $.99 to $60.

Jack Tretton, Sony Computer Entertainment’s America President, also revealed players will be able to sample games before they buy them. More info regarding pricing, the thing everyone wants to know, will come in the next several key events Tretton said, between now and PS4’s holiday launch.

“I think people are willing to pay if they see the value there,” Tretton told CNBC “The heat for the true gamer is on the console.”

Tretton justified the $60 price tag, and said it would be worth it for the amount of gameplay players will get. The PS3 and Xbox 360 titles both went for about $60, so it shouldn’t come as a big surprise to people that’s where the price sits again. Though it’s nice that it didn’t increase.

To get additional info on the PlayStation 4, Sony has now opened up an official PS4 website. There users can sign up for Sony’s email list to get updates on the console.
