The newest trailer for the upcoming Iron Man 3 was released today by Marvel. The trailer continues the bleak tone shown previously released footage, with Tony Stark shown being afraid of losing Pepper Potts and the city being attacked by The Mandarin. There’s also a cool scene of several different suits assisting Stark towards the end.
Iron Man 3 kicks off what is being called “Marvel Phase 2” which will encompass each movie released in the cinematic universe; Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, right up to the The Avengers 2.
Robert Downey Jr. will reprises his role as Tony Stark (perhaps for the last time) and will be joined by Gwyneth Paltrow, Guy Pearce, Don Cheadle and Ben Kingsley (who will be playing The Mandarin).
Iron Man 3 hits theatres on Apr. 5, 2013. Check out the trailer below.
