Borderlands 2 level cap raised today

Borderlands 2 level cap raised today 1

Starting today, Borderlands 2 players can jump back into Pandora and play up to the new level cap of 61. The catch being that the additional levels are only available once you’ve purchased the Ultimate Upgrade Pack.

The content will be free to players who bought the season pass, but can also be purchased separately for $4.99.

Along with the cap raise, there is also a new mode being made available for players that have already hit the current maximum of 50, title Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. This mode lets players go through the story again at a higher difficulty. According to Gearbox this mode will add things such as higher overall health (up to 4X higher) for enemies and more common ammo drops. For a full list of changes check out Gearbox’s official page here.

More content will also be headed to the game next month, with a new playable character named Krieg the Psycho.

Are you still playing Borderlands 2? If you’re done with the game is this new content enough to get you back in? Leave your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned to CGM for the latest videogame news.
