Some next-gen games won't carry over single player progress after upgrade

If you were looking forward to continuing you single player campaign on the next-gen versions of Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, you’re out of luck unfortunately .

Representatives for Electronic Electronic Arts, Activision, and Ubisoft have confirmed this with Kotaku, and added that multiplayer progress and purchased downloadable content for Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts will make the transition.

Ubisoft has not been able to confirm whether or not single-player progression will carry over to next-gen consoles for Watch Dogs. The big-budget, open-world game will release for current-generation consoles and PC on Nov. 19 in North America, and will be available at launch for the PS4 and Xbox One, which release on Nov. 15 and Nov. 22 respectively.
