Today marks the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, GTA V‘S multiplayer component. We had some trouble logging in this morning, but hope that these issues will end as the day goes on.
GTA Online was announced back in August, showing off the many different activities players could engage in. Character customization, real-estate investment, mission creator and deathmatch are some of the many modes announced in the trailer.
According to Techland, GTA Online occurs a few months before the single-player campaign in Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar also released an article listing many previously unannounced activities such as Capture the Flag.
Grand Theft Auto Online is available for free to all owners of GTA V. You can read CGMagazine’s review of GTA V here.
