Undead Labs has announced its first DLC for State of Decay, the open-world zombie game for Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows.

The new DLC, titled ‘Breakdown‘, adds an entirely new level as well as gameplay changes including increased damage from zombies.

Undead Labs announced in a post that “State of Decay: Breakdown is designed to bring…challenge. As you progress through each iteration of the game, the scenario gets tougher and tougher. The game is daring you to try and survive, and is ramping up the difficulty each time you do.”

According to GameSpot, the DLC should be available sometime this month, as long as “no catastrophes” occur.

State of Decay was released on June 5th on Xbox Live Arcade. You can also purchase it on Steam here.
