Crosse Studios launched a Kickstarter yesterday for Lacrosse 14, a game that (surprise, surprise) focuses on the fabled Canadian sport.
The game, which the developers hope to complete by 2014, is asking for $210,000 to be made. So far the page has raised 17,000 in its first day. Many of the rewards include things like beta testing and having your character developed for the game.
The title (if funded) will be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. While Lacrosse is one of Canada’s national sports, the activity isn’t well known on an international scale, which is why not many video-games have been created for it.
You can give the sport some hope though by donating to the Kickstarter here.
