Sony has announced on their European PlayStation blog that PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to play the Dark Souls II beta this Sunday.

Those interested in taking part of the beta can download the necessary files through the Exclusives section of the PlayStation Store. You won’t have much time to participate however, as the beta will only be open between 07:00 – 10:00 GMT.

Players in North and South America will have to redeem a code that will be posted today at 14:00 ET on the Dark Souls II Facebook page. The first 30,000 people to redeem the code will obtain access to the three-hour trial which will run from 02:00 to 05:00 ET on Oct. 27.

The beta is currently only running on the PlayStation 3. Dark Souls II will be released in March 2014, and will be accompanied with a graphic novel written by Rob Williams and Andi Ewington, which will hit shelves in January.
