Wii imports to Europe discontinued

A United Kingdom rep announced Wii stocks in the UK and the rest of Europe will not be replenished.

Earlier this week a Nintendo of America representative  confirmed the Wii will still be available in the United States, but only Wii Mini units will remain available across Europe according to the UK rep.

The Wii revolutionized motion controls back in 2006, and has since sold over 100 million units across the world. The console can be bought for $130 which includes Wii Sports and Wii Spors Resort. If you don’t have a Wii, but suddenly feel like you need one but perhaps don’t want to pay full-price, a previously leaked Gamestop ad suggests they’ll sell for $50 on Black Friday in the United States.
