Georgia Man Loses $29 Grand in Comics

What if you lost over $29,000 in comics? Well, that very thing happened to a man from Augusta, Georgia on Tuesday.

According to an article from The Augusta Chronicle, a North Augusta man informed the police someone stole his comic collection. The comics were held in his friend’s storage building, and included classics such as X-Men, Avengers, Fantastic Four, Superman and more. Some of the comics were even signed.

The value comes from the police, who valued each comic at $1 a piece. What’s interesting is how someone would not only find but steal that many comics. You’d think there would be more interesting things to profit from?

Stay tuned to CGM as the case develops.
