Xbox One Twitch Streaming Will Have To Wait

Folks who had hoped to stream from their Xbox One this month will have to wait a bit longer. Despite a slated release for “early 2014”, Twitch Support tweeted today that there is no estimated time of arrival for the update and that users should “expect a few more months. If we know sooner, we’ll update.”

This is unfortunate for Microsoft’s new console, as the PlayStation 4 has had Twitch streaming since its release on November 15th. Luckily, Xbox One owners are still able to watch Twitch from their home console, just to able to stream their own gameplay.

It’ll be interesting to see how this will affect the exposure of the console, especially given the increasing popularity of Twitch and its counterparts. For now, be sure to check out www.twitch.tv/cgmagonline for upcoming event and streams.
