Gamers unsure of purchasing a Wii U for Mario Kart 8 will have a little more incentive later in May. Nintendo of Europe and Australia have announced a Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle for those regions.
The bundle will include the 32 gig black Wii U, gamepad, sensor bar and a physical copy of Mario Kart 8. In the trailer, Nintendo Europe also showed a limited edition pack with the game along with a Blue Shell statue.
Along with that, there will be two more packs in Europe that come with an extra Wii remote, gamepad cover and a steering wheel, all either Mario or Luigi themed depending on the package. These will release alongside Mario Kart 8 on May 30.
Nintendo has yet to announce if any of these will come to North America at this point in time, but they’ve said there have been no announcements on a Canadian release.
Stay tuned for updates as we get them.
