Much to the dismay of most gamers, Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn has successfully finished it’s indiegogo campaign.
Over 1,100 donators contributed to the campaign raising $473,884, funding it over 104% of it’s initial goal.
Also announced today was the inclusion of a Wii U version. Originally one of the stretch goals was to bring the game to the Nintendo 3DS, however that was canceled early on in the campaign.
The game is being made by Big Deez Productions who’s members have previously worked on Halo, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, and Duke Nukem titles.
Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn seems to be more of a character action and a classic beat-em-up hybrid instead of a fighting game like the original one was.
There is no set release window for Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn, but it has been confirmed for Wii U, PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
