Another week means Atlus will be releasing a new Persona 4 Arena Ultimax trailer. This week it features the robotic Labrys.
Labrys is an anti-shadow suppression weapon that can use a Persona, much like her sister Aigis from Persona 3. She made her first appearance in the first Persona 4 Arena where the plot revolved around her shadow creating the P-1 Grand Prix which caused the characters of Persona 3 and 4 to fight each other.
Labrys is a slow heavy hitting character, but the more times she is able to hit her opponent she’ll gain more momentum. She will move faster and she’ll deal more damage, eventually being able to deal the maximum amount of damage with all of her combos and regular moves. She isn’t totally reliant on her Persona Artemisia, unlike many other characters, but it can help set up zoning traps so that she can easily build up momentum.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax releases on August 28th in Japan, and has a fall release date for North America.
