343 Industries dropped a bomb on the gaming world today as they announced the next instalment in the Halo franchise. Titled Halo 5: Guardians, this game will release in fall of 2015 exclusively on the Xbox One.
Bonnie Ross, the general manager of 343 Industries, made the announcement, stating “Halo 5: Guardians is a bigger effort than Halo 4.” Everything is meant to be larger, and it runs off a new engine too.
We’ll have to wait until E3 to know anything else about this game. In Microsoft’s last E3 conference, they teased a new Halo with a short trailer featuring Master Chief in a poncho walking around in the desert, so you know the next thing they show.
