The follow up to the 2011 first-person shooter Homefront was just announced by Crytek.
Homefront: The Revolution is set in the same dystopian future that the first game was set in. America is still under the control of North Korea and players will need to start the second American revolution to take it back.
The game will be an open world first-person shooter in Philadelphia. Players will need to learn and take advantage of guerrilla warfare to take out enemies who outclass and outgun you. As players progress in the story, their actions will influence their resistance and will change out outcome of the game.
According to the trailer, the gameplay reveal will be shown at E3 next week.
Homefront: The Revolution will be released in 2015 and will be on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
