Warning: Huge Persona 4 spoilers below, read at your own risk
The Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has just revealed that Tohru Adachi will be a playable character in the console version of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.
Players will remember Adachi as the goofball cop who works with the Dojima, but turns out the be the real culprit in the Inaba murder cases.
Adachi will use his Persona Magatsu-Izanagi as well as his gun, much like he did in his original Persona 4 boss fight.
Although he is playable, Adachi will be a DLC only character. The first run of Japanese copies of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will have a code inside that they can redeem for the character.
Also released today were two new trailers for two returning characters for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.
First, the Unconquerable Snow Black Yukiko Amagi will be making a return. Yukiko is a keep-away type character that relies heavily on her Persona. She can also heal from damage taken as well as use moves that boost the damage of her fire type moves.
Lastly, Captain Ressentiment Yosuke Hanamura will also be returning. Yosuke’s greatest strengths lie in his high speed and mobility, as well as his ability to infect negative status effects upon opponents and mixups.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will be released in North America on September 30th on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
