Blizzard dropped a bomb on World of Warcraft fans. A whole new expansion, named Legion.
The biggest threat to ever come to Azerauth comes in the form of an invading Legion. Before the actual expansion, players will deal with an event called Broken Shores. A demonic invasion takes place and a battle bigger than the War of the Ancients. This leads to Legion. Players are dropped into a new land called the Broken Isles. Once bustling with life, it is now a shell of what it once was. It’s more of a bone yard of a past time. Here, players search the land for the Pillars of Creation to seek help from the gods to close the demon portal. To do such, players will traverse through new areas like Val’ Sharah, a land with roots in Druid lore, Stormheim, Azuna, Highmountan and Suramar,and the main hub from Wrath of The Lynch King, Dalaran will serve as a gathering place for players.
To add to that, there’s a new level cap of 110, new raids and dungeons, a new honour system, 36 artefacts and the new Demon Hunter class.
